Grace has cried twice tonight contemplating how much she would miss me if she did well enough on American Idol for the judges to send her on to Hollywood. I honestly don't even know where to begin talking her down.

But if she can't sing, you NEED to. Please don't let her grow up to be one of those people who can't sing at all who goes on national TV and makes a fool of themselves when they go on and on about how great they are. ;o)
I am still paying for when I said to Justin in an off-hand tone, "You know you're tone deaf, right?" Because he didn't know and he will never let me live it down. Since she inherited his musical talents, I'll let him break it to her when the time is right!
